This wine i tasted was pretty old even 2 years ago , that is why the description has been influenced by the year of production , but sure it is a good wine in perfect condition
Winery : Cordier
Name : Prestige
Vintage : 2001
Area : Bordeaux ( Cab. Franc., Merlot , Cab . Sauvignon )
Alcohol content : 13%
The color is an intense deep red , garnets lights , consistent . The nose is not so good as i though , but interesting with dry flowers and wet wood , i think because of the vintage or due to a poor storage . The mouth is dry , quite soft , warm , sapid and quite tannin . This last point , about tannin , shows that the wine is almost gone but not at all , in fact it is still alive but not so characteristic, it plays in the mouth like an old man , passing through it without let a trace !
P.S. As i have said before , the vintage was not really good and also we have to count that sometime ( well , always ) even the poor storage conditions can ruins the product. To knows that it was a 375 ml bottle as well .
